PERSONAL TRANSPONDERS

In line with many other clubs, from 1st January 2017 we will no longer be providing hand-out transponders for use at WBMCC race meetings. Instead you will need to have your own personal transponder mounted in your car in order to have your laps counted.
The vast majority of drivers racing at WBMCC already have their own personal transponders, so this should not affect many people. Nonetheless, we are providing as much advance notice as possible to allow you to plan ahead and purchase your own personal transponder(s) in time.
We will have purchased another batch of MRT mPTX personal transponders for sale to WBMCC club members at cost (£45). If you are a WBMCC member and wish to buy one, please let race control know and we will add your name to the list. Once we've received your payment, you can have your transponder.
These transponders are compatible with all current race timing software and simply plug into your receiver socket.
