Club Night Class Rules
Touring:
- Any 190mm 4WD touring car chassis
- 17.5T brushless motor limit
- Speed Controllers set to "Blinky"
- 2S LiPo limit
- Any slick or wet treaded rubber tyre (no rally blocks, pins, spikes or foams)
- Touring car bodyshells only
- 5mm Ride height minimum
Off Road:
- Any 1/10 2WD, 4WD or Vintage buggy (separate championships, heats will be organised based on driver ability)
- Any motor for modern cars and any 10.5T motor for Vintage
- Any 2.2" rubber slick tyre in any compound, with any insert. Non driven axles are to use slick tyres too. Eg: Schumacher Honeycomb, Jconcepts Smoothies 2. Tyres that have a pin, spike, rib or block pattern tread are not permitted along with Foams, whether new or worn - Staggered tyres are no longer allowed on non driven axles
M-Chassis:
- Tamiya 2WD M-chassis (M01 - M08)
- Any rubber mini-size tyres, no rally blocks or Foams
- Motor: 17.5T brushless / 17T brushed motor limit
- Speed controllers set to Blinky mode
- 2S LiPo limit
- Any Tamiya Manufactured shell are allowed, any non tamiya shell must be a rear 1:1 with no "jelly mould/ aero" type shells
- Wings cannot be added to bodies that do not originally come with one
- 5mm Ride height minimum

MTC (Mini Touring Car):
- Any commercially available MTC chassis
- Any MTC rubber or foam tyre (max. 60mm diameter / 26mm width)
- 17.5T motor with 2S LiPo
- Any ESC in "blinky" mode (no timing/boost)
- 5mm Ride height minimum
12th Mini
- 12th mini pan cars must be 161mm wide and 175 +/-2mm long
- Only 32dp gearing allowed
- Any foam tyres under 48mm diameter adn 26mm width
- Any 25.5t brushless fixed timing motor and 2s battery combination. Blinky timing must be set on ESC
- Any core 21T motor can be used with any brushed ESC and 4 Cell NiHM battery
- Any commercially available Mini styled bodyshell designed to fit a 175mm chassis
- These rules are loosely following the mini masters series rules and any loopholes found in our rules can be amended by enforcing their entire rule book which can be found here
General Rules, all classes:
- All drivers must have a valid BRCA licence (unless you have never raced before, in which case you may race 3 times before this becomes a requirement).
- Any car with sharp protrusions will be removed from the track to avoid damage to the race carpet. Front shock towers and shock mounting bolts must be covered on off-road buggies. All screws underneath the car must be countersunk and tight. Axles must not extend beyond the width of the wheel/tyre.
- All LiPo batteries must be hard-cased and not left unattended when charging.
- Charging of LiPos must be done a purpose-designed LiPo charging pouch. Please follow manufacturers guidelines and do not charge above 1C for safety reasons. Cycling LiPo batteries or purposefully warming them is not permitted.
- Every driver will marshal the race after their own, unless they are unable to in which case they must inform Race Control and provide a volunteer marshal in their place.
- Spectators are welcome to view the racing but are not permitted to enter the track area unless they hold a valid BRCA licence.
- Classes that are unable to be merged with other heats are required to have 5 cars minimum to be ran - this is to ensure pace of the night.

- Everyone racing at club events is expected to help with setting-up and packing-away the track. This is your club, so please help out.
