CLUB RACING UPDATE: 12/05/20

We hope that everyone associated with West Bridgford Model Car Club is safe and well. As we communicated during March, all of our racing activities are currently suspended in line with the published Covid-19 restrictions. We are monitoring the situation as it develops and we are following the advice of the government and also additional guidance from the BRCA. Unfortunately, at this stage we simply don't know when we will be able to re-start racing activities safely or what additional precautions might be required to do so. There are many factors to consider; the club Committee has started to discuss them and how we might deal with each of them in turn. Some are relatively straightforward whereas others are more challenging, particularly for an indoor club with a lot of equipment to set-up and pack-away at each meeting. Like you, we want to start racing again as soon as possible, but only once it is safe for everyone to do so. We will continue to keep you informed of any further developments. In the meantime, take care, stay well and stay in touch.
