1989 - 33 Years of RC Racing! - 2022
We would like to inform everyone associated with WBMCC, whether a club member or visiting driver, that we are monitoring the developments related to Coronavirus in the UK and its associated control measures closely and we are actively considering our responsibilities as a club.
At this stage, we are continuing with our planned race meetings and we have not been informed of any restrictions regarding either of our venues.
We will continue to follow events closely and we will respond to these as appropriate, considering any advice received and following any restrictions that may be imposed. In the event of changes to any of our planned events, we will provide the necessary communication via email, social media and our club website as promptly as we can.
Of course, it is very important that if you are suffering from any known or potential symptoms then you must not attend our race meetings and follow the appropriate medical advice.
Thanks for your understanding
Paul (on behalf of the WBMCC Committee).
The new race carpet will be here this week! In preparation, we will be re-enforcing an existing rule to ensure that we limit the possibility of damage to the carpet. All cars will be checked for any sharp protrusions before the race start. This includes, but is not limited to, front shock mounts and mounting bolts on off-road buggies, protruding chassis screws and axles which extend beyond the width of the tyre/wheel. There are also some adjustments to the race classes from March. Check out the Racing tab for the details.
Firstly, we are expecting the delivery of our NEW RACE CARPET in early 2020!
Secondly, Under 13s now receive FREE CLUB MEMBERSHIP for 2020! The club membership form is available to download from the "Racing" tab.
Finally, we have added an MTC RACE CLASS for 2020! The rules for this new race class are available on the "Racing" tab.
Everyone is welcome to come along to watch or take part in the racing on any Friday evening through the year at Becket School in Nottingham.
